Compassion is the cornerstone of our care

At Rowanbrook, we provide specialist care for adults with complex mental health and physical needs, moderate to advanced dementia care and complex nursing care

Every step of the journey at Rowanbrook Care Home is person-centred. From referral and throughout the admission process, a multidisciplinary team works collaboratively with carers, medical professionals, mental health professionals and social workers.

We assess the individual thoroughly, making sure Rowanbrook is going to be the perfect home for them, a place where they can be supported and understood. We then offer a personal care plan which aims to achieve their unique and desired outcomes.

Following admission, the journey truly begins as we get to know each resident, to understand their likes and their needs, as well as their life story. We spend time helping new residents to settle in and to feel at home from the moment they arrive.

Mental Health Care

Mental health care is multi-layered, influencing someone’s behaviour, perception and cognition and includes their emotional, social, psychological and overall well-being. Our trained healthcare team and registered nurses, including registered mental health nurses, take the time to fully understand every single aspect that contributes to an individual’s health and implement support strategies accordingly.

Nursing Care

At Rowanbrook, we offer permanent residence for people with a range of physical health needs that require round the clock support from a team of healthcare professionals and medical nurses.

We have a team of qualified and experienced staff, dedicated to providing exceptional care. Our team includes registered nurses, registered mental health nurses, care assistants, and other healthcare professionals who are committed to ensuring the well-being and comfort of every individual in our care. With their expertise and compassion, you can have peace of mind knowing that your loved one is receiving the highest quality of care

Dementia Care

Our team are highly experienced, compassionate and caring, who strive to deliver the best possible care to those living with dementia. They understand the complexities of the many different subtypes of dementia such as Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia, frontotemporal dementia and other rare types of dementia.

Our focus is to understand the uniqueness of the individual and to understand the impact of the progression of the illness, to continually support and enhance wellbeing. We also recognise the impact a diagnosis of dementia can have on family members and our care and support extends to this wider network

Side by side

We understand for relatives, this journey can be a challenging and emotional time, which is why we are here for you too.

We are here to welcome you into the home, but also to listen, to talk to, and offer you our support.
